Who is responsible

What is collected

On the English pages there is no form and no personal data is requested. The only data collected is anonymous navigation data through Google Analytics, by way of Google Tag Manager: pages viewed, referral source, device type and approximate region.

Cookies and your choice

Measurement cookies are blocked until you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. Declining is one click and does not restrict any part of the site. Your choice is stored in your own browser and can be changed at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Legal basis and purpose

The processing is based on your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)) and serves a single purpose: understanding how readers find this site. There is no profiling, no advertising audience building and no sale of data.

Who else is involved

Google (Analytics and Tag Manager) as measurement provider, and Google Firebase Hosting, which serves these pages and keeps standard server logs. Buying the book happens on Amazon, under Amazon's own privacy policy. No payment data passes through this site.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of any data relating to you, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to schmi@caranaue.com, or to +55 11 99607-5093, and the request will be answered within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

Data outside your country

This site is hosted in the United States and operated from Brazil, so the data described above is processed outside the European Economic Area, under the safeguards offered by the providers named above.
